One person, start to finish
I do the strategy, the design, the development, the SEO, and the launch. No project managers relaying messages. No junior developers learning on your budget. When you call, you speak to the person who built your site. That's not a limitation — it's the service.
26 years of pattern recognition
I've been building websites professionally since 1999. I've seen platforms come and go — osCommerce, Zen Cart, Magento, WooCommerce — and I know what survives and what doesn't. That experience means I spot problems before they cost you money, and I know what actually converts because I've tested it across hundreds of builds.
Honest recommendations
I'll tell you if a full custom build isn't what you need. If a £49/month business website will do the job, that's what I'll recommend. I'd rather build something that fits your business than sell you infrastructure you'll never use.
SEO is built in, not bolted on
Every site I build includes proper SEO foundations — structured data, clean URLs, fast page speeds, mobile optimisation, and keyword-targeted content structure. Building a beautiful site that nobody can find is a waste of your money.

A specialist fire safety products company stuck on EKM, a platform with limited SEO capability. I migrated the entire operation to Shopify — products, customers, order history — with full URL redirect mapping to preserve existing search rankings.

For content and speed
Most business websites are primarily content — service pages, about pages, blog posts. Astro delivers page speeds that WordPress and Wix simply cannot match. Sub-second loads mean better Google rankings and fewer lost visitors.
Shopify
For ecommerce
The best ecommerce platform for UK small businesses. Handles payments, shipping, inventory, and tax compliance. 99.99% uptime. PCI compliant. I don't fight the platform — I build on top of what it does well.
Stripe
For payments
For businesses that need payment processing without full ecommerce infrastructure. One-off payments, subscriptions, payment links — Stripe integrates with any site I build and charges less than PayPal for UK transactions.
What I don't use: WordPress, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, or page builders. Not because they're inherently bad, but because they carry technical debt that costs you money over time. I've spent 26 years watching businesses outgrow them and pay twice — once to build, and once to migrate.
